About the charity

In order to cope with the challenges that are before us, it is of the utmost necessity to have spiritual leaders of the highest order. In order to accomplish this, we must take upon ourselves to find those who have the most potential with regards to learning Torah. This is our communal obligation: to nurture and grow our flag and torch bearers for future generations.
Now is the time to act. Join us in supporting 100 students per cycle (altogether 500 students) that will form the future religious zionist leaders.

About the project

Who do we support?
Those who toil in torah in religious Zionist institutions across the country. These students are handpicked and tested by their rosh yeshiva. These students that are chosen are of the highest stature and lead by example, influencing younger students who view them as role models. Our foundation stresses the importance of supporting these said students, in order to build a leadership that can address the needs of the religious Zionist Jewry. All donations will relieve the pressure that currently sits on the shoulders of the student and the yeshiva, and with it you carry with them their burden, and help to build the future leadership of religious Zionist Jewry.

Why do we need you?
It is upon every individual in the religious Zionist community to understand that we are dealing with a subject of historical interest and importance. This understanding implores us to support our students. If not we may find ourselves being subordinate to those talmidei chachamim who are not religious Zionist. It is true that the accomplishments of the religious Zionist yeshivot are, up until now, great, but now we stand at a crossroads, and in order to raise the bar we need to put our hands in our wallets and support our future Torah giants. Therefore we turn to everyone one of us and call out: come and be partners with our foundation that supports these handpicked 500 stand-out students from religious Zionist Jewry.

Transparency
Our foundation functions with complete transparency and is a non-profit project. The money is moved on to the students without any "service charges" or "agency fees" – rather, straight into the bank accounts of those handpicked students. The money that you donate will be passed on straight to the students, 100 percent donation without any commissions and with no extra charge
Our principles of action are clear and transparent: every request for support is checked out by the rosh kolel or rosh yeshiva. Afterwards the foundation committee meets and discusses in detail and depth every case.
About the foundation

In 5769 the foundation under the name "Echad l'echad" was founded in order to support those who toil in Torah. Recently, those at the foundation realized that it is of the utmost necessity to focus on a smaller group of a few hundred students, with the hope that from them will grow future Gdolei Torah.
The foundation acts in the following way: the foundation turns to roshei yeshivot across the country and requests from them to locate those students with the highest potential, with the goal of passing monetary support onto them, and enable them to carry on learning Torah in calm and tranquility.
At the head of the foundation stands Rabbi Yitschak Neriya, the grandson of Rabbi Moshe Tzvi Neriya zts"l who founded the Bnei Akiva Yeshivot. In the past Rabbi Neriya was rosh yeshiva of the Yeshiva high school "Or Etsion". Today Rabbi Neriya is Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat "Torah Betzion".
